Welcome to 2013! It is great to be back after such a great summer holiday, what fantastic weather we have had and are still having!
Everyone has settled into Fearless Four well. We are missing our year 6 students from 2012 (although we have had a few visits from some of them!) and hope that they are enjoying their first few weeks at intermediate school. Don't forget to keep visiting our blog and letting us know how you are getting on!
We have been busy setting up books and routines in Fearless Four. Some of it is very different for our new students, however the Year 6 students are great mentors and everyone is getting used to how things are done. There is a great vibe in this class and I know that it is going to be an excellent year!
A few housekeeping things for parents:
Swimming: Monday, Wednesday and Friday. students need togs or a note if they cannot swim.
School Assembly: Tuesday morning 9:10 am.
Team Assembly: Friday afternoon.
Library is on Tuesdays. Students must return all books before they can reissue.
All Fearless Four Students need a water-bottle for inside the classroom.
Thank you to all our wonderful parents who have made sure that we have started the year promptly with all students having their stationary. . . awesome!! Students will also need a green biro and a highlighter (just when you are able).
Sealord Swimming starts this week. Please make sure that the $10 is paid to the school office or have a word with the lovely ladies there to make an arrangement. $10 covers the cost of the lessons and bus.
Don't forget our Meet the Teacher’ Picnic” this Thursday 21st February 5:30-7pm.
I'm looking forward to meeting all the new parents and catching up with the familiar faces.
